Our huge assortment of cutlery for children is composed of five major manufacturers. Because each supplier uses a different style, finish and design, the cutlery are all different. In addition, each supplier has purchased different picture rights.

Below you will find a short explanation of the differences per brand.

Keltum

Cutlery manufacturer Keltum often makes children's crockery with pictures from classic stories. You can think of Caterpillar Never Enough, Frog, Little Red Riding Hood and Beatrix Potter. They also have a number of cutlery sets with more neutral images, such as bears, animals and soccer.

The quality of the Keltum cutlery for the little ones is just great. All images on the cutlery are steel printed, so you never have to worry that the image will disappear. The finishing of the cutlery is of a very high level and the cutlery shapes look nice and firm. The somewhat wider shapes ensure that there is plenty of room for engraving. In combination with the beautiful packaging, you are giving a really special gift.

For many years, Keltum also made some nice and special combinations, but a large number of these separate products have been discontinued. Fortunately, we were able to buy these cutlery sets in bulk at the very last moment. Examples are the real silver plated 4-piece cutlery sets with the motifs of Beatrix Potter, Bears and Animals. The 6-piece cutlery sets are also known to be out of stock.

Because we are very enthusiastic about these Keltum products and find it very unfortunate that production is stopped, we have taken them extensively in stock.

Zilverstad

The most famous characters we find on the cutlery of Zilverstad, namely Miffy, Fien and Teun, Dikkie Dik, Snoopy and Woezel and Pip. Almost all cutlery has a steel picture, but there are also cutlery with fun colored pictures.

The quality of the steel and the finishing has recently improved a lot compared to the past. Because of this we are very pleased with the quality of the Zilverstad cutlery nowadays and also the possibilities of engraving. Besides that they have of course the most popular licenses with Miffy and Woezel and Pip. They also have an extensive Miffy set with plate and cup from both Miffy and Dikkie Dik so the little one will not be short of anything at the table.

Zwilling

The cutlery sets of Zwilling often have less famous characters as an image. This makes them a bit cheaper, while the quality remains excellent. The Bino cutlery for example is of good quality and already available for € 14.95!

On the Zwilling cutlery there is a little less room for engraving, which makes it a little more of a fiddly job and really long names do not fit well.

WMF

Children's cutlery with the most famous Disney characters is made by WMF. You can think of Princesses, Cars, Winnie the Pooh, Donald Duck, Finding Nemo and Jungle Book. All these images are printed on it in good quality color. These Disney cutlery from WMF have enough space for the name because the shape is very wide. A lot of children's cutlery is also in the extended variant with plate, cup and bowl. It is a nice steel quality and all the images are dishwasher safe. Nowadays the cutlery of Mickey Mouse is also available. We have this in stock in a 4-piece but also a 6-piece set.

Besides the Disney figures WMF also makes cutlery with more general images of for example animals, safari and travel.
